PEERS® RVA Camps are an exciting way to experience the same evidence-based curriculum taught in our Social Skills and Financial Fitness programs — condensed into a few days of focused, fun learning. Held throughout the summer at locations across Virginia, camps bring together teens and young adults in a high-energy environment where they can connect with peers, practice real skills, and leave with tools they’ll use for life.
If you’ve been curious about the PEERS® RVA programs but aren’t sure about committing to our month long courses, a camp is a fantastic way to get a complete runthrough of the curriculum and see firsthand how the program works.
What to expect
Each camp covers the core material from either the PEERS® Social Skills curriculum or the Financial Fitness curriculum — just at an accelerated pace. Students move through the full scope of the course content over several consecutive days, with the same engaging instruction, group activities, and real-world practice that make our weekly classes effective.
Just like the full-length programs, every camp includes a pre-assessment at the start and a post-assessment at the end so students and families can see concrete progress even across a short timeframe.
Where and when
Camps are held at various locations across Virginia throughout the summer. Because camp locations, dates, and age groups vary each season, we encourage you to check the current offerings below or contact us to find out what’s coming up near you.
